This page supplements our Privacy Policyand provides additional information for California residents as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”). Terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used on this page.
1. Our Role Under the CCPA
MigrateX Inc. (“MigrateX”) acts as a business when we collect personal information directly from you (for example, through our website or during the sales process). When we process personal information on behalf of our customers during a migration project, we act as a service provider as defined by the CCPA. Our obligations as a service provider are detailed in Section 11 of our Data Processing Addendum.

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information from California consumers:

We collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you: when you fill out forms, book a consultation, or contact us.
- Automatically: through cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website (subject to your cookie preferences).
- From third parties: analytics providers and advertising platforms that provide aggregated usage and conversion data.
4. Business Purposes for Collecting Personal Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following business purposes:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving our website and migration services.
- Processing consultation requests and responding to inquiries.
- Sending marketing communications (where you have opted in or where permitted by law).
- Analyzing website usage to improve user experience.
- Detecting and preventing security incidents and fraud.

5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
MigrateX does not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
6. Your Rights Under the CCPA
As a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know: you may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete: you may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct: you may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out: you may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As noted above, MigrateX does not sell or share personal information.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
7. How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a request to know, delete, or correct your personal information, email us at privacy@migratex.comwith the subject line “CCPA Request.” Please include your full name and the email address associated with your interaction with MigrateX.
We will verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to confirm your email address or provide additional information to match you with records in our systems. We will respond to your request within 45 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension (up to an additional 45 days).
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the authorized agent to provide written authorization and may verify your identity directly.
8. Retention of Personal Information
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as described in our Privacy Policy. Website analytics data is retained in accordance with our providers’ standard periods. Migration project data is deleted within 30 days of project completion, as detailed in our DPA.
9. Financial Incentives
We do not offer financial incentives, price differences, or service differences in exchange for the retention or sale of your personal information.
